Miika Huhtinen and Lassi Lepistö appointed as Partners at Eversheds Sutherland Finland as of 1 July 2026
Eversheds Sutherland Finland has appointed Lassi Lepistö and Miika Huhtinen as Partners as of 1 July 2026. Both Lassi and Miika are home-grown talents who first joined the firm as trainees during their law studies, and have since built their careers within the firm all the way to partnership.
Lassi Lepistö specialises in intellectual property, advising Finnish and international companies across a wide range of IP matters. He is part of Eversheds Sutherland’s global IP practice and also works through Eversheds Sutherland Finland’s subsidiary and IP arm Heinonen & Co.
Miika Huhtinen specialises in restructuring and insolvency, serving as Co-Head of the firm’s Restructuring & Insolvency department. He advises creditors, debtor companies and other stakeholders on complex insolvency matters, and is regularly appointed by the court as an administrator in insolvency proceedings.
“It feels especially meaningful to see Lassi and Miika take this step, as both started with the firm as trainees more than 10 years ago. Even back then it was clear that they both had the curiosity, judgment and drive to go a long way. And here we are now!
This promotion is not only well deserved, but also a great example of the firm’s growth journey and the generational shift we are building: developing outstanding talent from within, giving people room to grow, and trusting the next generation to help shape what comes next.
Very proud (and also slightly pleased) that the early scouting report turned out to be accurate.”
