Lotta Uusitalo appointed as Partner at Eversheds Sutherland Finland as of 10 August 2026
Eversheds has appointed Lotta Uusitalo as Partner as of 10 August 2026.
Lotta specializes in competition law, with extensive experience across the energy, infrastructure and automotive sectors. She has over 25 years of experience advising on demanding domestic and international competition law matters, including competition law assessment of M&A transactions, merger control, cartel investigations, competition law assessment of cooperation arrangements, distribution agreements, allegations of abuse of dominance and damages actions.
Lotta has expertise in competition and regulatory issues within the energy and infrastructure sector, covering areas such as production, distribution and market functioning. Lotta also brings strong commercial industry knowledge from the automotive sector, where she has worked as an advisor and client partner for close to 25 years.
Lotta advises our clients in a hands-on manner and places great importance on understanding the client’s business. She holds several positions of trust in competition law, including as an expert member of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment’s EU Division and the Finnish Bar Association’s Competition Law Expert Group. Lotta is also a board member of the Finnish Corporate Sustainability Law Association. In her free time, she focuses on family life.
