ISO 27001 certification strengthens our clients’ information security

Data & Tech

Our starting point for developing information security is simple: we want to serve our clients even better. The expectations placed on the security and confidentiality of our clients’ data are continuously increasing, particularly in complex and cross-border engagements, and we have wanted to respond in a way that is independently verified. This systematic, firm-wide effort has now been formally recognised: the information security management system of Eversheds Attorneys Ltd has been awarded ISO 27001 certification on 4 June 2026. The certification was granted by Into Certification following an external audit process.

This initiative is also part of our international Eversheds Sutherland network’s shared commitment to a consistently high level of information security. For our clients, this means they can rely on the same verified standards regardless of where within our network a matter is handled. Enabling seamless and secure collaboration across jurisdictions is a common goal for us.

The ISO 27001 standard is based on a comprehensive approach to information security. It requires systematic governance of information security, supported by clear processes and practices that ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. The certification process included multiple audit phases during which both the management system and practical implementation were assessed.

For our clients, certification means above all reliability and predictability. Information security is systematically managed, verified and continuously developed. It supports our clients’ own security and compliance requirements and enables smooth collaboration also in engagements where information security requirements are particularly stringent.

Information security is not a standalone project but an integral part of our daily operations and the quality of our services. The certification is not an endpoint, but a foundation for continuous development, ensuring that we can continue to meet our clients’ evolving information security requirements.
